Lavender pinnata, its scientific name is Lavándula pinnata, is an aromatic evergreen shrubby plant, belongs to the Lamiaceae family, native to the Canary Islands, and is one of the varieties of lavender with a longer flowering period.

In warm climates, we can enjoy its characteristic inflorescences almost all year round.

It is a low shrub, so we can use it to form natural borders or low hedges.

Given its origin, if you live in a cold climate it will be necessary to protect its roots from frost.

It should be pruned at the beginning of spring to stimulate its growth and a second pruning after the summer flowering and in the meantime remove the dry leaves.

With the flowers of Lavender pinnata they usually make essential oils.

It is recommended to pay in autumn and spring.
