Lavandula stoechas or frech Lavender belongs to the Lamiaceae family and is native to the Mediterranean region.
Flowers are purple and give off a nice smell. Flowers can bloom from february till the summer.
In its natural habitat it grows in well drained clay-sandy soils
We can slightly trim the plant after each blooming, this way we will keep the shape of the plant and will encourage for a new blooming.
Also we can feed the plant with organic manure by the end of the winter or the end of the summer.
Normally it does not suffer from pests, although it can suffer from fungi in the case we overwater the plant or place them in a shady area
This plant is widely used in cosmetics and personal toiletries because of its flowers perfume.
It is also used in Medicinal teas.
