Philodendron martianum is a herbaceous climbing or shrubby plant belonging to the Araceae family.

It does not tolerate direct sun, but needs a lot of light.

It needs a fertile, sandy soil and it is advisable to fertilise once a year with a slow-release fertiliser.

It does not need pruning, it is enough to remove the dried or withered leaves.
