-As all the begonias in general, it is cold and too strong sun sensitive, as they are native of subtropical and tropical climates.

-This evergreen plant is quite tough, although  in direct sunlight the edge of their leaves will  turn reddish brown and will bend but it will not suppose a damage to the plant.

-A good place for it is for example underneath the trees.

-Important for Begonia Shepherdii is to provide it a rich substrate and a good drain.

-Water with frequency to avoid a too dry soil.

-Lets use a flowering fertilizer as a lack of nutrients will make that the leaves turn it a copper colour.

-Wilted flowers of Begonia Shepherdii is  selfcleaning which means you won't need to pich off old flowers, so it is really very easy to maintain.

-After winter we will trim it, even quite low, to give an equilibrated shape and to stimulate new stems.
