Crassula 'Ivory Pagoda' is a small succulent that forms unbranched columns of tight, frosted white leaves that retain their colour best in bright sunlight.

It grows slowly up to 12.5 cm high. Young shoots develop at the base of the plant.

Succulents are easy to grow, but are susceptible to mealy bugs and fungal diseases. As with all succulents, overwatering can be fatal, so it is better to dry them than wet them.

Never let your plant sit in water. If you water from below by leaving the plant in a saucer of water, be sure to pour off the excess water after a few minutes.

These succulents are usually started by division, cuttings or leaf cuttings. Crassulas can be easily propagated from a single leaf. Sprout the leaves by placing them in a potting mix for succulents, then cover the dish until they sprout.

Transplant as needed, preferably during the warm season. To repot your Crassula, make sure the soil is dry before repotting, then carefully remove the pot.

Remove the old soil from the roots, making sure to remove any rotten or dead roots in the process. Treat the cuttings with a fungicide. Place the plant in its new pot and fill it with potting soil, spreading the roots as you transplant them.

Let the plant dry out for a week or so, then start watering lightly to reduce the risk of root rot.
