In its natural habitat, this succulent grows in thickets, damp ravines and on rocky cliffs.

Its growth is creeping. It can be grown as a hanging plant in pots that are wider than they are tall. It is a fairly fast growing plant.

Its leaves are fleshy and heart-shaped, which is why many call it crassula corazón. The leaves appear in pairs and their colour is green with red edges.

It usually flowers in spring. Its flowers are white and star-shaped.

It is a plant that needs a lot of sunlight. It should only be placed in direct sunlight in the morning.

It can adapt to direct sun if the temperatures in our area are not high.

Its leaves turn red if it gets too much direct sunlight.

It needs more watering than other succulents. If the leaves turn yellow it indicates that it is receiving more water than necessary. In winter we should reduce the frequency of watering.

It is a plant with moderate drought tolerance. It tolerates low temperatures.

To grow properly, it requires a well-drained substrate.

The pests that usually attack it are aphids and mealy bugs.

The easiest way to reproduce is by cuttings. We can also reproduce it by pairs of leaves.

Cuttings can be placed in soil and in a few days it will take root.
