Elaeagnus x ebbingei is a hybrid, evergreen shrub belonging to the family the eleagnaceae.
Appreciated due to its high tolerance to almost any type of conditions, and by its cream, scent flowers in autumn, edible  red- orange berries in the spring  and compact silver foliage.
It is very resistant to winds and marine areas, also to drought periods.
In cold climates, it will lose its leaves but it will come out in spring.
Supports trimming, which are carried aout  mainly in summer, if required, once finished the fruit, or at the beginning of the spring.
We will achieve a more compact and leafy shrub or tree.
It takes about one year to settle, but after that it will grow quicker.
It grows easily , and do not need high maintenance.
Elaeagnus x ebbingei can be planted in any type of soil it not a delicate plant, and do not need any special compost or feed.
Neither is this plant prone to develop deseases,
