Myrtus Communis , Myrtle or Myrtle is an Evergreen shrub belonging to the family of the mirtaceaes.
The beauty of this shrub is their compact and aromatic foliage of small leaves and small white flowers which take place towards the summer.
You need a good soil fertilized and well-drained, sunny and warm summers.
It is better not to expose them to windy areas.
It resists drought.
Pruning should be done once you have given Bloom or at the end of the winter, to form mainly though its growth is quite controllable.
Not usually suffer from diseases or pests.
The Myrtus multiplies by Woody cuttings or seeds.
