Caryopteris clandonensis C14

Caryopteris clandonensis also known as bluebeard is a shrubby evergreen plant native to China and Japan.

It is a very decorative compact plant ideal for mixing with other plants to make flowerbeds and borders.

It needs fertile, light and well drained soils.

It blooms from spring to autumn, its flowers are small and of blue colour.

It is advisable to fertilize at the end of winter. 

Pruning should be done at the beginning of February and the end of March.
