Convolvulus cneorum or silverbush, is an annual plant which belongs to the family of the convolvulaceaes.Cneorum species is a perennial shrub of silver-greyleaves and white flowers.
Its natural habitat are scorched land and rocky places and does not require a too rich, or too wet soil.
Tolerant to coastal areas.
To keep this small shrub with pretty shape, it is necessary to prune it and shaping it, after flowering.
If any, use a fertilizer for maintenance, because it is not very demanding on feeding. The type of fertilizer used must be special for flower plants.
Tolerant to strong prunnings by the end of the winter or the beginning of spring.
Convolvulus cneorum might suffer from aphids and mealy basically.
Hot and humids summers can  weaken the plant.
Aphids and mealy bugs are the most typical pests.  Treat the plant aplying a systemic insecticide.
